Combine one of the seminars listed above with a walk-through at one of your construction sites. An optional follow-up report will outline observations made on site, including what was observed, problem areas, how to correct issues and a planning timeline for implementing changes. Consider working with your local HBA, distributor or lumberyard to sponsor the training portion of the day, which may also be scheduled for an evening time slot.

Sample One Day Agenda

*8-10am Training Session: Do’s, Don’ts and Why’s (or choose another topic)

*10:30am-12:30pm Round Table Meeting with senior management, field supervisors, warranty personnel and specific subcontractors to introduce the integration of building science and risk management into your business.

*1-2pm Break for Lunch

*2:30-4:30pm Construction Site Meeting. Walk through your development with homes at various levels of completion for evaluation. Identify areas of concern such as air infiltration, HVAC, insulation, foundation and exterior cladding.

*5pm Break for Day

Rates

Day rate is $4000.  Add $500 per day for travel days when no services are provided (maximum one travel day per visit). Additional travel expenses will include non-stop airfare to and from the event city $25 booking fee, lodging, ground transportation, $19 per day airport parking at point of origination, and meals up to $75 per day.
